What does fee-based membership mean?
Unlike other matchmaking services where you pay a fee and hope you meet someone, Desert Introductions charges you a membership fee in order to personally match you up with other like-minded gay men and couples who share your same lifestyle interests.
Are my dinners and drinks included in the membership fee?
No. Each member pays for their own dinner and drinks. At the end of the evening, each member will be given a separate bill so there’s no confusion over who pays what!
Is this a dating or matchmaking service?
No. Desert Introductions is personal. We provide a comfortable, unique restaurant setting where single gay men and gay couples are hand-selected and brought together to meet other men with similar thoughts, ideas, tastes, lifestyle interests, careers etc.
Are couples allowed?
Yes.
How many men can I expect at a dinner event?
In order to bring value to our members and provide everyone an opportunity to get to know each other, we will keep the dinner events to a minimum of 6 members and a maximum of 8.
When and where are the dinners held?
Initially dinners will be held twice a month at a different upscale Phoenix restaurant. Desert Introductions members will receive e-mail notifications as to the time, place and date of the event as well as a restaurant menu and directions to the venue.
Are there other member-only events besides dinners?
At this time, the exclusive member-only dinner events will be the main choice for members however as our membership grows, so will the event calendar.
How will I know that I won’t be uncomfortable at an event where I don’t know anyone?
First of all, initiating conversation should be easy since you’ll be dining with other hand-selected members who share the same interests as you however the Desert Introductions Host will be available at the start of the evening to facilitate introductions so you’ll feel completely at ease throughout the duration of the event.
What if I really like someone I meet at the event and want to take the next step?
Should there be someone that you did not get to exchange your contact information with but with whom you had an interest, we will be happy to initiate another conversation and contact him your behalf.
How do I become a member?
Membership is quick and easy! Just click on the “Join” tab at the top of the page to fill out your New Member Registration. Once you’ve filled out the form, you’ll receive a confirmation e-mail at the address you provided. Click on the registration link listed in the e-mail, type in your password and then click on the New Member Profile button to complete your profile and pick your package! It’s that simple!
